Plant Hire

John Stacey maintains a complex listing of plant and machinery for hire and contract work. Our support services are dedicated to keeping plant and machinery fully efficient and minimising down time. They include our custom built modern workshop at Stacey Industrial Park, radio controlled mobile technicians for on-site repairs and welding, and low-loader service for delivery and replacement.

We are able to offer the plant as operated or on a stand alone hire. Where the client opts for the machinery to be operated, John Stacey are able to supply an operative from a large pool of talented drivers that are trained, experienced and motivated to offer the finest service and on-site advice as well as the skills to operate the latest equipment. All our operatives will come fully trained with the most

up-to-date CPCS ticket, are experienced for civils and ground works and will also be supplied with PPE.

Excavators

We are able to supply a variety of 360 Excavators ranging between 3 ton and 30 ton with multiple attachments which include:

- Breakers

- Hydraulic Grab

- Forkes

- Universal Processor

- Compactor Plate

- Pulverizer

In addition we are able to provided wheeled JCB excavators. Likewise should your machine need a demo guard, then let our staff know and we will accommodate the request.

BULLDozer

The bulldozer is a very powerful crawler that is equipped with a blade. We are able to provide a D41 or D65 LGP from our range of Bull Dozers. Please see the D65 specification below.

Brokk

Our Brokk's are a remote controlled machine ideal for the demolition of structures in tight areas where the excavator can not get to. The Brokk is supplied with; a Breaker, Pulverizer and buckets. See below for some selected specification details of a Brokk 150.

Earthmoving Equipment

Our Volvo A30D Articulated Dump Trucks are ideal for the movement of large quantities of materials.

Crushers and Screeners

CRUSHER

Our crushers are the perfect choice for recycling on primary applications. The hydraulic release jaw crusher fitted to this plant will sense an overload an open when required to protect the crusher against serious damage when uncrushables up to 200mm cube enter the crushing chamber. The huge benefit of wonderful access under the crusher and power pack is further improved when the conveyor is lowered at the push of a button. The enables the operator to clear blockages that can occur on recycling without the need to frequently handle the material.

This plant also benefits from a high discharge conveyor, easy set-up hopper and low running costs. It is also available with a number of options including magnet, side conveyor, radio remote, flipper plate and extra large hopper.

SCREENER

The screener is designed to work after a primary crusher or on it’s own as a frontline tracked mobile screening machine. Applications include quarrying, mining construction and demolition debris, topsoil, recycling, sand, gravel, coal and aggregates. The plant has the capacity to process at a rate of up to 600 tonnes per hour and can be fed either by a tracked mobile crusher, shovel or an excavator.

Our dust suppression system is ideal for large sites that have a need to keep dust to a minimum. The tractor pulls along the tank, which is able to store 1600 gallons of water and disperse it as it is being pulled.
